Sometimes I get stuck in this place that is neither here nor there. It's in between. Not quite a stasis. It's more of an impasse.

It happens when my mind gets blocked. I am stuck thinking about too many things at once and at the same time feel powerless to do anything productive about them.

I'm sure that I'm not alone. Many people probably experience this. That doesn't make it any less frustrating.
